Once upon a time, there was a sweet merchant in Mumbai named Mohanlal. His business was average because of competition in the market, and he was barely managing to get by. He lived in a rented house and even his soap was on rent.
One day, a new construction project began near Mohanlal's shop. The building was huge, and many workers were toiling under the moonlit sky. Their children, thin and weak from lack of proper food, played with sand and broken toys.
Mohanlal's heart ached for the children. He started providing some sweets and breakfast for them near the construction site every other day. The children, their eyes sparkling with joy, devoured the food. For two years, Mohanlal continued his secret act of kindness.
Then, the construction project was completed, and the workers moved on.
Twenty years flew by. Mohanlal, now an old man with silver hair, watched his son, Rakesh, run their sweet shop. The shop bustled with customers, a far cry from Mohanlal's struggling days.
One morning, five men walked into the shop. "We may not remember your face," one said, "but we remember your heart." They were the construction site children, all grown up! Now, they run an NGO that helped thousands of people. Mohanlal's eyes welled up. His small act had grown into a mighty tree, sheltering so many. The NGO needed sweets and breakfast items, a sweet echo of his own past. News of Mohanlal's secret kindness spread like wildfire. People came, their pockets full of gratitude. The shop overflowed with laughter, sweeter than any jalebi. Mohanlal, once a struggling vendor, became a legend, a reminder that kindness never truly disappears. . Mohanlal's son, Rakesh, through increasing income from NGO, started an export company for their sweets. Their business boomed, and they were soon able to help even more people. This is the story of Mohanlal, a testament to the karmic philosophy that good deeds are always rewarded. His small act of kindness not only changed the lives of the construction site children but also brought him immense happiness and prosperity. The story reminds us that even the smallest act of kindness can have a ripple effect, making the world a better place.
